For the first time ever, users can build and setup their own Digital Video Recorder (DVR) system using 3xLOGIC Vigil Server Network Video Recorder (NVR) software. With 3xLOGIC Vigil Server software, user can configure their own PC with software to record videos from upto 32 video IP cameras. The software works on any Microsoft Windows operating system and server/PC hardware with Intel CPU.

Users can now freely configure their DVR hardware to suit their own needs or perhaps develop their own Video Surveillance Business. They can increase HDD size to as much as 10TB for recording videos from many IP and analogue cameras simultaneously, at high frame rate and resolution for as long as 6 months or more. Additionally, users can setup PCs HDDs with RAID configuration so that video recording cannot be lost due to HDD failure.

Users will have a single view of all cameras within this control using 3xLOGIC DVR client software. The DVR client software is FREE. With proper access rights, users from their DVR client software can view camera videos or playback recorded videos and even copy segments of recorded videos onto their PCs or thumbdrives.

Users can also access the DVRs via their PDAs. However, this access method has limited capability as compared to the DVR client software.

3XLOGIC Vigil DVR server software also includes video analytic functions (8 functions) to alert users of certain security conditions or for performing traffic flow analysis. These functions are available upon request.
